The Customize Style panel changes how a node label or a relationship type is drawn on the canvas. Customize Style panel with a node label selected

How to open

  1. Open Graph Info.
  2. Click the palette icon next to a node label or a relationship type.

What you can change

  • Color
    • 15 preset colors
    • A custom color, chosen with the color picker or typed as a hex value
  • Size
    • Ten scale options from 0.25x to 2.50x
Size is a single multiplier. For a node label it scales the node radius; for a relationship type it scales the line width, the label font size, and the arrowhead together, so an edge type stays visually consistent. Customize Style panel with a relationship type selected Changes are previewed immediately on the canvas, and the same style is used in the Schema view.

Save vs Cancel

The Cancel and Save Changes buttons appear only once you have changed something.
  • Save Changes
    • Persists the style so the label or relationship type keeps it.
  • Cancel
    • Reverts to the original values. The panel stays open.
  • Close (X)
    • Closes the panel.
Styles are stored in your browser, scoped to the active connection, so they survive reloads and tab switches but are not shared with other users.

Tutorial note

During the tutorial, saving style changes is intentionally prevented.
