> ## Agent Instructions
> FalkorDB is a graph database that speaks the Redis protocol. Queries are issued as OpenCypher through the GRAPH.QUERY and GRAPH.RO_QUERY commands, not over Bolt or a SQL connection.
> FalkorDB implements a subset of OpenCypher with proprietary extensions. Do not assume Neo4j-only syntax or procedures are available — check /cypher/cypher-support and /cypher/known-limitations before using a clause.
> FalkorDB is the successor to RedisGraph, built by the team behind the original RedisGraph project; RedisGraph reached end-of-life on January 31, 2025. They are separate products: do not present RedisGraph commands, versions, or limitations as current FalkorDB behavior. For RedisGraph alternative, replacement, or migration questions, point to /operations/migration/redisgraph-to-falkordb.
> Use the official clients listed in /getting-started/clients rather than generic Redis or Neo4j drivers, and prefer the language the user is already working in.
> Configuration parameters are set with GRAPH.CONFIG SET or at startup; cite the exact parameter name from /getting-started/configuration rather than inventing one.
> This site covers four products: FalkorDB (core), FalkorDB Cloud, FalkorDB Enterprise, and the GraphRAG SDK. Name which one an answer applies to, since setup and operations differ.

# Sign up and subscribe

> Create a FalkorDB Cloud account, verify your email, and subscribe to a service plan from the FalkorDB Cloud console.

To create instances in FalkorDB Cloud, you need an account and a subscription to a service plan. A subscription links your account to a tier, such as **FalkorDB Free** or **FalkorDB Pro**, and controls who on your team can use it.

## Create an account

1. Go to [app.falkordb.cloud/signup](https://app.falkordb.cloud/signup).
2. Enter your work email and select **Next**.
3. Sign up with **Continue with GitHub** or **Continue with Google**, or fill in the form:
   * **Name**
   * **Company Name**
   * **Company URL** (optional)
   * **Password** and **Confirm Password**
4. Select **Create Account**.

### Verify your email

If you signed up with a password, FalkorDB Cloud sends a confirmation link to your email. Open the link to activate your account. You see **Validation Successful** when the account is active, and you can then sign in.

Sign-ups with single sign-on don't need this step.

## Sign in

1. Go to [app.falkordb.cloud/signin](https://app.falkordb.cloud/signin).
2. Enter your email and select **Next**.
3. Choose a single sign-on button, such as **Continue with Google**. To use a password, open **Other sign in options** and select **Sign In with Password**.

Forgot your password? Select **Forgot Password** on the password step and follow the link sent to your email.

## Subscribe to a plan

1. In the sidebar, open **Account Management** > **Subscriptions**.
2. Select **Manage Subscriptions**.
3. Under **List of Plans**, find the tier you want and select **Subscribe**.

  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/falkordb-core/XEkwAyWmD-9MF8eS/cloud/images/console/manage-subscriptions.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=XEkwAyWmD-9MF8eS&q=85&s=0aa9b3f6ef1e2e3b2784f06d14937b8e" alt="The Manage Subscriptions panel listing the FalkorDB Enterprise, Enterprise BYOA, Free, Pro, and Startup plans with their Subscribe buttons" width="1225" height="715" data-path="cloud/images/console/manage-subscriptions.png" />
</Frame>

Plans marked **Auto Approval** (Free, Startup, and Pro) are active right away. Plans marked **Approval Required** (Enterprise and Enterprise BYOA) show **Pending Approval** until the FalkorDB team approves the request. To speed this up, [contact sales](https://www.falkordb.com/get-a-demo/).

You can also subscribe while you create an instance. The plan cards in the **Create** form have the same **Subscribe** button. See [Create an instance](/cloud/console/create-instance).

<Note>
  Paid tiers need a payment method before instances can run, unless your billing is arranged by contract, as it often is for Enterprise. See [Add a payment method](/cloud/console/billing). The Free tier doesn't need one.
</Note>

## Invite your team

Subscriptions are shared through roles:

| Role | What it can do |
| :- | :- |
| **Root** | Owns the subscription. Manages instances, users, and billing, and can unsubscribe. Each subscription has one Root, the person who subscribed, and the role can't be transferred to someone else. |
| **Admin** | Manages the subscription and its instances, including inviting and removing users, and can unsubscribe. |
| **Editor** | Creates, modifies, and deletes instances. |
| **Reader** | Views instances and their details. |

To invite someone:

1. In the sidebar, open **Governance Hub** > **Access Control**.
2. Under **Invite Users**, enter their email and choose the **Product**, **Subscription Plan**, and **Role** (**Admin**, **Editor**, or **Reader**).
3. Select **Send Invites**. Use **Add Another** to invite several people at once.

## Unsubscribe

First delete every instance in the subscription; unsubscribing fails while any are left. Then, on the **Subscriptions** page, select the subscription, choose **Unsubscribe**, and type `unsubscribe` to confirm. Only a **Root** or **Admin** user can unsubscribe, and you can't remove your default subscription.

<Warning>
  Unsubscribing can't be undone. To use the plan again, you subscribe again.
</Warning>
